Actually Coeburn Little League should have been ashamed to have done a child like they did there at that time..I remember it well...And if you all were proud of that, then It is good for the kids in the league now that they are all gone. Maybe it will be a better league for the kids that want to play softball and baseball...
Isn't it funny how nice some people are until they know who they are talking too and the true colors come out...
Amen! The judge actually called those at little leage "idiots" for even proposing kicking a child out for playing elsewhere! The entire board was kin in one way or another or married! But they are no more and little league is for beginners and those who are playing for fun, not to win!
ASA - Travel Ball - whatever you want to call it, it is real softball! Call it cherry picking all you want but there are kids begging to get on travel teams, especially the local ones!
Well, I remember about 5 years ago in Pound, you (Chandlers mother) were screaming like a wild maniac every time Light delived a pitch a the little league district championship game and yes, I did come over a "shut you up". No one was screaming at Marie tonight, we were cheering for our team and our kids and that is none of your concern. If yelling "be patient", "make her pitch to you", "quit swinging at junk", and "dont help her" is ugly, well then toughen up! And the PV's pitcher HARDLY EVER hits the glove where it is set up, maybe that is the catchers fault though! BE PATIENT GATE CITY, STAND THERE, YOU WILL GET WALKED! And Chandler - come play travel ball sometime, when light has the defense and bats as good as she is and we'll see who comes out on top, or well we already have havent we, several times?

You truly are what everyone says you are... You never "shut me up" but like you said that was 5 years ago and it was little league.. All I was doing in little league that year was cheer for our girls. As far as travel ball goes every time Marie has played your team, she hasn't had a good defense behind her like she has with the PV Varsity team. Say what every you want, but the fact is you were saying "she can't throw strikes, she can't hit the mitt" and several other things.. I have no problem with you saying things like "make her pitch to you, or don't swing at bad pitches" it was the other stuff and you know what I mean. I'm not the one that just about everyone that isn't from Coeburn hates. All I have ever said about Hannah is good things. I have complimented her numerous times on here. Here lately you have been trying to degrade Marie. What's up with that? I don't understand it... just because PV beat Coeburn makes you want to try and hurt Marie. Do you think she doesn't read this stuff? Then tonight at the game you yell out to the batters the same crap you've been saying on here and you think that isn't going to affect her during the game. It may have bothered her for a mere second that you seem to hate her but that is because she is such a good person. You have no idea what an awesome kid she is. But throughout all your yelling she still held it together and we won!
For awhile I thought maybe you had changed and could respect when someone else was a good pitcher, but you haven't. Winning isn't everything... you should try to show some integrity and good sportsmanship to the other team. Respect can sometimes go a long way.
I read this post a couple hours ago and it was only 1 page and when I signed back on to see if I could find anything on the Regions...I find 8 pages. The only thing I have to say...is I was sitting in the stands the other night at PV and heard for myself when one of GC girls got up to bat the coach said "she is only medium" about the batter...I'm sorry but I thought that was uncalled for. But I am just a fan...and I know different things offend people in different ways...but I just didn't think that was right to say about a high school player. Again it is just my opinion......

I agree with you ... the coach shouldn't have said something like that... but I doubt he did it for 7 straight innings like the way our Pitcher was treated tonight.
